Happy Birthday to me! The cat distribution system brought me a gift.
The universe decided to give me a birthday present today. Coming home from my birthday dinner my bf yells "Watch out!" As I'm pulling into the driveway. This little girl (or guy) was crying her lungs out all on her own. We looked everywhere for mama or siblings but couldn't find any. We're guessing she's about 3 to 4 weeks old. We're taking her to the vet in the morning and got her some kitten formula for now. Depending on what the vet recommends we're thinking we might keep her. We've already named her May.

Edit: Thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone! I'll update once we've taken her to the vet.
Update: She's all good! Vet confirmed she's about 3 weeks and is a she. She does have some eye gunk but we got some ointment for her and the vet said she should be fine. These last few days she's really showing her personality. She likes to chase fingers around and cries like mad when she's hungry. We've start calling her May-day when she's yelling. Thank you all again for the comments!

Happy Birthday! I would call this an excellent present! Hopefully, she gets a clean bill of health and spend furever with you

When the Cat Distribution System personally delivers you a birthday gift in the form of a kitten, you pretty much have to keep it. There is honestly no other option at that point. A tiny crying baby cat showing up alone in the driveway on your birthday feels less like coincidence and more like the universe making a very specific decision for you. The CDS really said happy birthday and dropped off a little screaming furball named May directly at the perfect house. Now instead of ending the night with leftover cake, there is a three-week-old kitten getting spoiled with formula, blankets, and nonstop attention. Sounds like a pretty successful birthday delivery.

A kitten is honestly the purrfect birthday gift. Forget flowers, gift cards, or cake. Nothing really compares to suddenly ending the night with a tiny little furball who immediately steals everyone’s attention. Sure, the gift comes with loud crying, emergency vet visits, and late-night kitten formula runs, but it also comes with tiny paws, sleepy cuddles, and a new best friend. May seriously picked the perfect time to show up too. A birthday kitten somehow turns an already memorable day into something nobody is ever going to forget. The Cat Distribution System really outdid itself with this delivery.

The best birthday present ever! Happy birthday to you and enjoy the cuddly kitten!

Get ready for a lifetime of cuddles, chaos, and nonstop cuteness. May already sounds like the kind of kitten who is going to completely take over the house and everybody’s hearts at the same time. Tiny kittens grow fast, but somehow they never stop acting like little babies when it comes to wanting attention and cuddles. Before long she is probably going to be following everyone around, demanding snacks, falling asleep in random places, and acting like she has owned the house forever.
